The theme of the Winter 2024/25 edition of the annual BCTA/NA Cranial Wave professional journal is "Fluent."

Fluent is effortless, flowing easily like water. Our work in BCST deepens as we become fluent in it, sensitive to what impedes or obstructs flow for ourselves and our clients and how to aid in resolving any impediments. That may appear as an ease in shifting perspective from the micro to the macro, or moving seamlessly between the three bodies of our physical, fluid and tidal body. Fluency affects how we interpret and adjust to the nuances of what we encounter. 

The authors in this year’s journal share their wisdom, their explorations and their curiosity of what fluent means in their practice of BCST, delving into the mythic and the quotidian. They look at our work as a living process, never stagnating as no two bodies respond exactly the same, and neither can we.
