Meet Our Board of Directors

Felicity Bensch, RCST®, Ed.M.
President

After many years working as a teacher and school administrator, I retired to teach English in Indonesia.  While there, I experienced profound relief from pain during a biodynamic craniosacral therapy session.  That led me to enroll in a foundation course which I completed in 2017 and then joined BCTA/NA, looking for community and support as a practitioner.  Later that year, Ged Sumner told me the Board was looking for new board members.  I sat in on a few meetings and decided to join to give back to my community and help the organization grow.  I have served as a BCTA/NA Board member for five years, chairing the Global Outreach committee and serving on the Teacher Approval Committee. I have an active practice and find time to enjoy travel and being in nature. Im a long time Berkeley, CA resident where I live with my husband, our sons and their families nearby. And I am a new grandmother!

Gayle Buchner, RCST® (Brain Gym Instructor, Trauma Resolution, MNRI Core Specialist)
Vice President & Secretary

I taught all levels of education for over 40 years specializing in Learning Assistance/Special Education. Using Brain Gym in the classroom eventually led me to the many other modalities that I have learned to use in my practice. I was very excited after retirement, to be able to take the RCST® training very close to home. I began this therapeutic practice in 2010. Since that time I have attended all of the in person BCTA/NA conferences, sat on the conference committees, and now have been on the Board since 2019. I feel very fortunate to do this work, be in the community of my colleagues and serve on the Board. I live and work in a private practice from my home in rural southern British Columbia.

Fred Snowden, RCST®, LMT, MBA
Treasurer

Following the path of my own healing, I began a bodywork practice as Licensed Massage Therapist in Ohio in 1996. I studied Polarity Therapy, Reflexology, and Upledger CST, and SER training. I became an RCST in 2007, mentored by Gary Peterson and served as a teaching assistant for several years. I have also enjoyed applying my biodynamic skills as a volunteer at a Farm Animal Sanctuary working with rescued horses, goats, pigs, and ducks (the chickens not so much, they always declined my invitation to settle!). I joined the BCTA/NA Board in 2011 and had fun creating Associations first newsletter. Since 2012, I have served as the BCTA/NA Treasurer, bringing my long-time experience in corporate finance and nonprofit board leadership to help the organization grow. I live in Aurora, Ohio with my partner Christine, three mini donkeys (Mary Poppins, Buttercup and Ginny) and two cats (Dash and Dot) in the embrace of 6 1/2 acres of loving trees.

Ilene Antelman, RCST®, RPP, LMT, SEP
Director

My entry into this work began in India where Id worked as a textile designer and became interested in Ayurvedic massage and nutrition. Back in NY I immersed myself in Polarity Therapy which included modules of biodynamic craniosacral with Reese Williams. That propelled me into massage school and then a foundation training with Roger GilchristWellness Institute. I’ve been private practice in NYC as Somatic Detective since 2017 and am currently assisting in a foundation training in Denver at School of Inner Health. During Covid I completed training in Somatic Experiencing, incorporating that work into my practice. I joined BCTA in 2020 and Jennifer Song, past BCTA/NA President, invited me to volunteer, which led to my becoming a board member in 2021. As chair of Publications. I am privileged to work on writing and editing the monthly newsletter, The Tide, and our yearly professional journal, The Cranial Wave.

Evelyn Olson, RCST®
Director

I am a second-generation native Arizonan who graduated from ASU in 2004 with a BS in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Education from Ottawa University in 2007. I completed my Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner Training and Pre & Perinatal Foundation Training with Scott Zamurut and Teena Walker in Santa Fe, NM.  My private practice, Sacral Sol BCST, is located in Chandler, AZ where I live with my husband Justin and our two cats, Bjorn and Lulla. In my free time, I enjoy road biking, hiking, and gardening. I was pleased to join the BCTA/NA Board in 2023, and now chair the Case Study initiative.

Linda Robinson, RCST®, LMT
Director

I live in Soquel, CA with my husband and near my daughters and grandchildren. I was drawn to our work while studying massage and appreciated the gentle yet profound modality of BCST. I continue to study with my foundation teacher, Robyn Michele Jones, a past BCTA/NA President, who introduced me to the work and invited me to join the Board. Being on the Board is my way of offering support and assistance to students, RCSTs and teachers as well as contributing to the Association.

Marie Tran, RCST®
Director

I am an intuitive healer practicing Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Reiki Energy Healing in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have a strong affinity with the elderly and am greatly interested in supporting the process of death and dying. I enjoy photography, nature, traveling and spending time with loved ones, especially my nieces and nephews, who help me stay connected to creativity, presence and wonder.  You can often find me starting my day immersed in my favourite morning ritual of being with the tide and witnessing the transformation of the morning sky.
